Colombia Bicycle Adventures' trips can best be described as gravel riding or “bikepacking light”. We carry our own gear (a couple changes of clothes, toiletries and a few accessories) in handlebar and seat bags and usually a small hydration pack. Our days are spent riding (3-6 hours per day) with other adventures mixed in (hikes, waterfall swims, bird and monkey spotting, coffee farm visits, etc.), and we end each day in a small town with a comfortable bed, a delicious meal, and a hot shower. Our trips are geared towards intermediate and advanced riders who enjoy a sense of adventure. The terrain ranges from double track to smooth dirt, with a bit of pavement mixed in. The riding is not technical, but the area is quite hilly and good cycling fitness is necessary. Unless you organize a private trip, our group size is between 4-8 riders.

Tour del Café (7 Days of Riding - 9 Days/8 Nights Total): After a night in Medellín, you will travel to the beautiful town of Jericó and spend two days exploring the town and countryside by bike and by foot. You will then head out for a 5 day/4 night bike tour, ending back in Jericó for a celebratory dinner and night on the town before traveling back to Medellin.
