The Colombia Bicycle Adventures Story
In the summer of 2022, while on sabbatical from the University of Colorado Boulder, Tim and Lenore decided to move to rural Colombia to study Spanish and for Tim to continue his research on happiness in Latin America. They arrived in Jericó, Antioquia sight unseen and immediately became enchanted with the colorful town, the people, the cycling culture (low tech, high enthusiasm), and the endless gravel riding through breathtaking landscapes. After hundreds of hours of two-wheeled exploration they decided with their friend Jorge to start Colombia Bicycle Adventures. The goal of CBA is to benefit the Jericoano community while sharing this special place with those interested in exploring it as we did -- one pedal stroke at a time.

Our Mission
Our mission is to share the thrill and beauty of biking in Colombia with cyclists from around the world while supporting local and family owned businesses, and nonprofit organizations in and around Jericó. We are committed to environmentally and culturally low-impact tourism that supports the communities in which we spend time. As part of this commitment we donate 10% of our profits to non-profit community organizations in and around Jericó.
