Antioquia doesn’t give itself up easily. Its most authentic villages hide behind mountain passes and its best views are earned through hours of pedaling. Our bikepacking tours cut deep into the heart of Antioquia, Colombia — remote, raw, and built for riders who aren’t afraid to earn their descents.
Days: We generally ride about 3-6 hours per day, with other adventures mixed in — exploring charming towns, hikes, waterfall swims, visits to bird sanctuaries, organic farms, and more. It's what makes bicycling in Colombia unlike anywhere else in the world.
Nights: We end each day at a charming hotel in a small town, with a comfortable bed, a delicious meal, and a hot shower — the perfect reward after a day of biking in Colombia's stunning landscapes.
Gear: We carry our own gear (a couple changes of clothes, toiletries, and a few accessories) in a handlebar and/or seat bag, and sometimes a small hydration pack — the classic lightweight bikepacking setup that keeps things light and liberating.
The Riding: The terrain ranges from double track to smooth dirt, with a bit of pavement mixed in. The riding is not technical, but the area is quite hilly and good cycling fitness is necessary. Our Colombia bike trips are geared towards intermediate and advanced riders in good cycling shape who enjoy a sense of adventure.
Group Size: Our tours include 4-8 riders and 2 guides, keeping things personal and intimate.
Options: In addition to our regularly scheduled trips, we can also arrange day rides or private trips of any size, length, or level of difficulty.
